Job Description : Bellboy

OBJECTIVE
This position offers courteous  service, helping guest with their luggage, in house deliveries, valet parking, guest rooming and airport assistance.


DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

1.  To report for duty punctually, wearing the proper hotel uniform and name badge at all   times.

2.  Attend departmental shift briefing, monthly meeting and training programs.

3.  Maintain the cleanliness of the work area and work equipments

4.  In delivering services always in line with the Brand Standard and Operating Philosophy.

5.  Well informed of the facilities, outlets and services of the resort including locals and its attractions.

6.  Well informed of the meetings and functions happening on daily basis.

7.  To give recommendation of restaurant, tours, and outside activities by recommending the approved venue/company list only.

8.  Provide courteous luggage assistance, guest rooming to the guest as well as room moves.

9.  Handle guest complain and communicate it with Assistant Manager or Manager on Duty.

11.  Helps opening cars door when stationed as a doorman.

12. Provide assistance for valet service

12. Control traffic on the lobby drive-way and conduct valet parking services.

13. Distribute newspapers, record and noted newspaper request for the next day accordingly.

14.  Assist guest with reserving and getting vehicle’s and taxi and communicate with Limo.

15.  Working together with Guest Relations Officer in delivering faxes, mails, and packages.

16. Special care with unattended luggage and communicate with the Assistant Manager and Security Officers.

17. Polish the luggage trolley, maintain their cleanliness and reported to PO Department if found any damage or any malfunction.

18. Meet and greet the arriving guest at the airport as well as assist them with the luggage and transport to the hotel.

19. Assist guest at the airport during departure.


20. To develop and maintain a high level of communication with all departments and    promote goodwill by being courteous, friendly and helpful to all guests, superior and fellow team member.

21. To carry out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned.
